But because there were some problems with applications I use daily, I reverted back to my old Android 6.0.1 build. Maybe something with battery optimizations or something?
Since a couple of days/weeks, I noticed that my widgets aren't updating anymore on my home screens of my Nexus 6 (Android 6.0.1).
It's not related to a single widget, it's all of them.
So I went to go update the two apps mentioned above, and it says error, package not signed correctly.
I've been having the error with Voice for awhile but now Facebook is acting up. Thanks :] Library 1.5 Overclocked at 1.25ghz I'm getting that same problem with GV and angry birds.

That was all the way back in September of 2014 and since then, there’s been a few updates on Google sides of things, bringing support for MMS across most carriers, and more recently dramatically improved voice mail transcriptions.
Although Google hasn’t posted a changelog, it seems this new version could be little more than bug fixes.
I'll make a new answer for future reference But in the end, this didn't work for me.
So I got into the Android widget documentation to find out what made the widgets tick. So I found out, that one widget can actually block the updating of the other widgets. So by adding every widget seperately, with a lot of time in between, I could notice that the problem occurred after a while.
When I reboot my phone, it updates the widgets one time, and that's that. For example, I have the widget for Google Fit on my home screen, and it is still showing the status from a couple of days ago; when I rebooted my phone.
